Has anyone tried this? My rheumie told me that some of his patients recommend it. They rub it in to the affected joints. It is made with green-lipped mussels.

I haven't but I do remember, in my 'try anything' days, swallowing Green Lipped Mussel Gonads Pills from the local herbalist. Maybe if you're a green lipped mussel they help. They did nothing for me though.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Sticky. I think sometimes these things only work if you really, really believe in them. Holland and Barrett told me only private pharmacies could sell this. Found it online but thought I'd see if it had worked for anyone before I gave it a go.

My rheumie suggested this too. Is it helping any, do you think? The Pernaton seems to be from £7-£10 online for a smallish tube.

I sent for the free sample sachet you can get from a seller on Amazon.

It was cooling and soothing but that was all.
You can get other products that do the same. I tried arnica gel from H&B for a similar price and it gave the same results.
Not sure I would fork out for a whole tube of the stuff.

Try the sample before you buy :)
How come I'm over the hill and rapidly going down it, when I don't even recall reaching the summit?
