Hi everyone hope your all enjoying the warm weather and all are reasonably pain free.
After 4 weeks of trying to get an appointment with my Rheumy Consultant I have finally been given one for this coming Thursday!!
I posted a few weeks ago about a pain in my back...well it has now spread to my right shoulder and right side of neck  Also my ankles have decided to come out and play too. My ankles are not too painful but are constantly nagging with a throbbing ache. My work does involve me standing all day and this is not helping at all. I have spoken to my Manager about this but she said it is not possible to reduce my hours
I have taken this coming week off as a holiday and will be resting my poor ankles quite a bit.
I am currently taking 10mg Methatrexate, Naproxen, paracetamol and Omeprazole.
Love n hugs
SheilaD xx

Hey Sheila,
I really hope your consultant has some answers and it's great news that you finally got an appointment! I always find a week off, getting up slowly each day and having a fun relaxing time can help to settle my mind if not my arthritis. I hope it works for you, especially staying off your feet a bit.

I hope the week off and the appointment both help. It can't be easy if you're on your feet all day. The rheumatologist will probably tinker with your meds a bit or add something to the mix. You may even get a lovely steroid jab to help stuff along. Whatever, I just hope it works. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
