We have just finished the first faaf course sponsered by AC. It was a great success. Five participants and a facilitator, all with some form of arthritis and six weekly telephoneconferences of one hour duration. We discussed all manner of health topics, well being, exercise, sensible eating and self management. Everybody contributed and enjoyed the involvement so much that Community Network who provide the course are setting up a reunion call in about a month's time so that we can all get together again.
Other courses are being set up. My advice? Get on one.

Wow, that sounds positive Ichabod, I remember hearing about these courses (on here I think) so I shall do some research in due course and see if any are going on in my area. Thank you for the report - and I hope you have a happy reunion! DD

    Hi
I was invited on one of these courses but the telephone calls were on a Monday evening and clashed with my Arthritis Care Meetings and there were some interesting speakers coming up so I declined.Glad you enjoyed it

Good news, Ichabod. I shall check them out. Sounds very interesting and positive.
