Mell has posted lyrics by a pop group called Puddle of Mudd, and it has set me off thinking about some of the crazy names chosen by different pop groups. Here are some of them:

The Strawberry Alarm Clock - oddly, had two top 40 hits!

The Electric Prunes - a two hit wonder

Squirrel Nut Zippers

Psychedelic Furs

Toad the Wet Sprocket

30 Seconds To Mars

Chumbawamba

Oh No Oh My

Mugwamps

If you were forming a pop group, what would you call it :?:

Never heard of them, Barbara, but perhaps they were in hibernation or busy zipping nuts.

I can see the Arthritic Monkeys now as we toddle onto the stage with our walking sticks etc. Gives a whole new meaning to break dancing

There is a group called the Zimmers already, which is made up of elderly people who are very young at heart.
