Hi everyone,
thank you all for your lovely messages, they really do help.
The pain has lessened considerably, but crikey this cast is heavy, it's playing havoc with my arm and shoulder. I slept a little better last night, and things are definitely improving. Left handed living is certainly a challenge
I have an appointment on Wednesday morning, to have this cast removed. :shock: Pocket duties would be much appreciated.

We're coping as per usual. I am pleased to hear that things are relatively OK and will no doubt improve when that dratted cast is removed, it'll be a case of out with the carpet scissores then? I'll be there in spirit, promise. DD

Hi Numpty,

Oh flower pocket duties for certain and the cast... Well its a necessary evil for a min but they will change it for something easier on wens I think. I can't quite remember but what they do but I do know it will get easier for you and be worth it once its up and free and working for you.

Leaving a ((((( ))))) and a bucket of wrist mend which I have perfected

Hi everyone,
thanks again for all your lovely messages, and for pocket duties tomorrow. I'm really getting wobbly about it now. I have a sort of love-hate relationship with this cast. It's blooming uncomfortable, yet a bit of a comfort blanket :oops:
Not a bad night last night, but it's been a bit more painful this afternoon. Stickywicket, I have been very careful not to hurt my OH with my cast, I rely on him too much at the moment
DD, we have sunshine here too, but quite a chill wind as well.
I will let you know how I get on tomorrow,
