I'm sorry the nap isn't helping but it's often a case of horses for courses with anti-inflammatories and there are others you could try. I suggest you go back to your GP.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

It didn't work for me either, did nothing at all for me but there are others out there to try so don't give up, ask for something else. Maybe you need to speak to your gp and get some better pain relief too as you can only take 8 paracetamol in 24hrs and they are obviously not helping you at all. Make an appointment with you gp hun and get your meds sorted.

I agree with the others , you do need some more pain relief, you have to be so careful with paracetamol...I take cocodamols, and diclos, they dont take all the pain away, but they take the edge off of it...some days they work better than others.
I do hope you get that referal very soon xLove

Naproxen was rubbish for me, the oral thrush it caused was absolutely superb but as an anti-inflammatory? I have never found that anti-inflammatories reduce pain and the dullers only do to a mild degree no matter how strong they are. My current GP earlier this year prescribed diclofenac and I have found that to be more effective so I restrict its use as I don't want to get too used to it. For pain relief I have co-codamol 30/500 - I know that cocos come in varying strengths so maybe your GP would be willing to try you on those? I began with 8/500 (8mgs = codeine, 500mgs of paracetamol) and they were OK back in the day. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
