Spent the day avoiding the evils that the ironing was giving me every time i walked past the spare room. Spending the night at proms in the park with a picnic, a fleecy blanket, and one of those portable glasses of wine from M&S. Tomorrow will probably be spent avoiding the ironing again

Hey! We are going away Monday too for a few days. Everyone I speak to is going away next week! The weather is going to change. Boo!

Sunday, I shall be packing, something I no longer enjoy at all, so leaving it to the last minute.

Today I got up early, daily stretching exercises out of the way, been into town on my bicycle and got a few things plus food for a BBQ for just the two of us, this evening. :D

Watered the house plants, second lot of washing soon ready to hang out, leisurely lunch in the garden, reading the paper, watering some of the outside pots earlier in the day. Picked tomatoes from the greenhouse. Will go and mow the lawn now as some of it is in the shade. A good old work out as it is a hand mower, a noise I find relaxing, unlikel petrol and electric mowers. :D Surely by then it will be time for a cold beer with Mr E who should have returned home by then.

You too Hileena. I hear the weather is changing! Doh! Never mind it is still a break, away from the norm.

I really must get down to the packing. I have got the bag ready and found my cagoule, scarf, little alarm clock, recharged the camera batteries, and recharged my phone so that is a start I suppose.

(where do you live barbara....fruitcake and tea I am on my way  )

Saturday I went with my daughter and son in law to my mum and dads, my brother, wife and kids were there...(.OH riding his Enduro motorbike somewhere in the lake district)

Today I went out on my scooter and visited my MIL and saw my other SIL and her hubby. Chatted twice on the phone to two friends and now I am boiling as I made homemade soup with mixed chillies in it and just finished my last sip

I'm supposed to be cleaning out the chickens right now but instead I have a big cup of tea and have just had a nap! I plan to get up early tomorrow and do them before work instead.

OH wants to lose weight and get out on the bikes more so we biked out to the neighboring village, had a sit on a bench and then rode downhill home! We both flopped and now it's dog walk time...he has two lovely labs and I have really excitable Miniature Pinscher who thinks that he is a big one!

My folks moved back to the UK a while ago and ma has taken it upon herself to look after us both by cooking a Sunday roast every week, they also live just over the road so we can both hobble round. My folks adore OH and have also taken his lodger under their wing and either send a plate of roast round or invite him to join us if he's about. My teenage son is gracing us with his presence this evening so it will end with us all watching music videos as we are all bonkers about music, and my son is a musician.

A lovely relaxing Sunday following a great evening with friends and a try out of the new Chinese takeaway, a good end to a stressful couple of weeks!

Hope everyone gets to enjoy some of the great weather, we don't often get it on the weekend!
