Well das score done gone up from 6.00 to 6.95 so qualify.Went through all the info about humira and got all the paper work, told rhemmy nurse about still waiting for liver scan ,who said she would get the sec on to it,she also said as soon as the results are in she will get the ball rolling with the humira.
So nurse phoned me middle of afternoon to say that the sec was contacting the scan people, less than 30 minutes later liver people phoned to say that the liver consultant did NOT think a scan was needed as everything points to it being med related and that letters were in the post to my consultant,gp and myself .To say i was miffed is putting it mildly,i am so cross all this time wasted while my hands and feet were getting worse,i just hope after all this that humira works for me.I took a while to calm down and stop the swearing before posting,Thank-you all so much for your support it means such a lot, sorry if its a bit of a ramble think i may still be a little cross.Mig

I'm not surprised you're a little cross (oh OK, absolutely fuming) but it's water under the bridge and things can't be changed. There is a plus side - you are going to start humira soon and I for one hope it proves to be the med for you. DD

Well all I can say is it is a good job you mentioned the scan at todays appointment and the rheumy nurse started the chase otherwise you could have been waiting till goodness knows when.

I now hope that you can start the Humira quickly and I have everything crossed that it works for you. :D

    Take Care

Ditto to all that, mig. Now that you've run out of expletives (I do trust you've run out by now  ) I hope you can just sit back and look forward to humira success. We'll be rootin' for you.

    Hi Mig,

Flower when you have two or more departments dealing with things they just seem to work against each other..... Its wrong but it does seem to be how it goes. For me its the gastro, pain and rumo depts and they al have their own ideas though thankfully of late the pain and rumo have been in agreement.

I so hope they are going to start you on the hermira. I know its a bit scary but it really can help some folk and very few seem to not get bennifitis from it so hold that thought.

Got a bit of you hand for the holding and have dragged in a safety net so you can't fall too far what ever happen. hang in there and so hope it will all come good and work ell fro you. Cris xx
