Poppyg1rl is in hospital

Our lovely Poppyg1rl has had a really tough time of it for far too long. She is now in hospital with DVT, sore, tired, very fed up and there at least until tomorrow evening. I know she would appreciate a few kind thoughts from us all.

As Poppyg1rl isn't the best at staying in bed, let alone hospital beds, I propose to plant nurse DD firmly on top of Poppy's good leg. The rest of us should sit on any other available bits of her and maybe start a wall around her bed.

Take care, Poppyg1rl. Stay put. Rest and relax as much as you can. (((())))

    Sorry Poppy that your not well and in hospital, hope your not in too long. And you behave other wise I will have to take a leaf out of '50 Shades of Grey' and tie you to the bed so you can get well enough to go home!! Take care.

    Oh Popster, things haven't been easy for you lately, eh? Please please please rest and let the nurses take care of you. I know it's tough but the sooner you allow your body to heal, the sooner you can break free. We are all here for you offering our support, love and company. Room for another one to perch on the end of the hospital bed? I'll keep you entertained with my tales of the day. I played bingo with a group of hearing and sight impaired older adults. Who thought up that genius idea?! :lol:

    She is home. 'Sore, with a bad headache, weak and weary, but home'. The heparin, given to break up the clot, is causing the headache. She has to go back for a check-up on Monday. I hope she will spend the weekend resting. Take care, Poppyg1rl. I'm thinking of you.

    Morning Poppygirl. I hope you've managed a good night's sleep and things are feeling a little easier today.

    Toni - I think that's actually one of those heavy weight things they use for curling :shock: (Not normally recommended for headaches :wink: )
