I had a depomedrone injection yesterday to help with a flare up.I must say,I feel a lot better today. Was supposed to start Meth injections next wednesday but I have an ear and throat infection and have just been given anti-biotics so that has been postponed until I am better. :) Also waiting on a water specimen result to see if it's an infection or a possible bladder stone. :? I have had the Depo injections before and found sometimes they help and sometimes they don't,but feel I'm lucky this time. :)

I hope so. Any infection will make the flare worse so anything that helps is very welcome in such circumstances. Hoping that you have a water infection is hardly a usual thing to wish for someone but, if the alternative is a stone in the bladder, I guess it's the lesser of two evils.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Rita
You are right with the injections, my first one didnt work at all, but the second one did wonders...I do hope the infection clears up very soon, and I do wish you well with the Meth xx

I'm glad the depo is helping and I'm sorry about the delay in starting your meth. It's best to be clear of any infection, if I catch a bug or cold I always stop the meth (that is the advice of my hospital) and I normally get better quite quickly. Like Sticky I hope it's a bladder infection rather than the other! Take care. DD

Thankyou for all your kind replies. :) I have had kidney stones before and they were ever so painful.I have all the symptoms of an infection but also like something sharp keeps getting 'stuck'. The dip tests came back negative so a specimen was sent to the hospital to be tested. If it comes back negative then the Dr will look in to it being bladder stones. I really need to get it sorted as it happens every few weeks and this time lasted 3 weeks.

    Hi Rita

So very glad to hear the depo has been a good one :D Sounds like you deserve it with all the other bits going on for you :(

My fingers are crossed that everything else is solved and fixed for you. Very wise to leave tha MTX a bit longer.

    Love
