Hi to all,
have not been able come onto this forum for some weeks as have been without internet since moving home. I finally managed to move from living in the property which went with my job, my retirement on medical grounds went through a few weeks previous. Things got worse before they got better but I am so very grateful to those of you who suggested I ask for steroids to get me through, I really don't think I would have managed without. I am experiencing severe fatigue and substantial pain but am trying to rest up now as much as possible and keep telling myself that things can only get better. Hope everyone is feeling okay today.
Saph

    Hi Saph,

Glad your back though I have been awol my self for a bit and missed your original post but glad the steroid helped.

I know sometimes it seem overwhelming and hard but it does get easier and you need to remember that as it helps to get you through it all.

The fatigue is a absolute fill in the blanks and I so hope that it will soon ease off for you. hang in there and fingers crossed it will get easier for you soon. Cris x

Hello Saphire, it's lovely to have you back. I'm not surprised you're struggling with fatigue etc, moving = stress and stress = things getting worse (well it does in my book!) I hope you are settling in well and that things ease soon. I wish you well. DD

    Hi Saph

    Lovely to see you back.

Glad you ahve moved and yes now hopefully things should get better :) . As DD did say stress is no good for arthritis and what is a house-move and medical retirement if not stressful

Glad the steroids helped and hope that you are permanently back online!

    love

    Hi Saphire

Glad you're back, happy new home! Hope you now get a chance for some peace and less turmoil so you can clamber back on top of fatigue and arthritis. Here's to your new start, it will just keep getting better for you, I've decided it will! :D

Rest and recuperate...it's nearly time to hibernate anyway

    Love LV xx

Thankyou everyone for your words of welcome back. It is good to be back with people who can understand how the arthritis affects everyday life. Have spent the day looking at all the things which need to be done, looked but have not touched! have been catching up on some of the threads and know there is so much support from this forum. I was desperately overwhelmed with things a few weeks ago and getting to the place I am today has been such a struggle, just knowing others understood really did make a difference. Saph x

    Hi Saph,

The feeling overwhelmed is sadly common but you will find your way through it all and will be ok, promise. Cris x
