Well there is a new visitor to my camp and I am not sure that I like it. Along with OA of the lumbar spine I now have Fibromyalgia.

Some of the main symptoms are:

pain
fatigue and exhaustation
sleep disturbance and waking up feeling unrefreshed
aching and stiffness
headaches
concentration problems
irritable bowels

Of which I have all of the problems. At least MrRugby now knows that I was not putting it on and I am not actually complaining for no reason.

Only thing that they can give me is the same as I am already on for OA so the pain I am in wont really be eased by them.

Is there anyone else out there with the same problems and can you give me any advise?

Well that's not exactly good news is it?
The best you can say is, at least you know which beast you're dealing with now.
I have no experience of Fibro, so I can't offer any advice, I will however send you some of these ((((()))))
    Thinking of you,

    Hi Jaki

Sorry you now have fibro to deal with too.
I have a friend who takes amytrip 25mg for her fibro and her symptoms apart from IBS are the same as yours.

Hope things get a little easier for you soon

Sorry, can't help, rugbygirl. I hope some of the others' suggestions will.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Jaki

Lots of people on here have fibro or fibro with something else too.

It is very dificult to treat I believe. My own ex MIL has it. She has an antidepressant (low dose) and pain killers and that is about it i think.

Might be an idea to do a search on here and you will find some of the older fibro threads.

anyway it's LOVELY to see you back again

    Love
