New symptoms

Hi all,I posted a few months back and got some great advice so back again with some more questions.
I'm 30 and have had trouble with my joints over the last two years-carpal tunnel, wrist and hip tendonitis, bursitis, painful bunions on my feet, degeneration and bulging and herniated discs in thoracic and lumbar spine.I went to a rheumatologist who says there is nothing inflammatory-nothing shows in bloods.I was given anti-inflammatories and was sent for physio.I got a steriod injection for my hip and that did me some relief.
Lately I have found that my hands feel tired and achey after even moderate activity, they are always really cold too.I am also getting pain in my pubic bone which I was told is usually only seen in pregnant women (I'm not).I just seem to be having physio and getting somewhere with one joint and then another flares up.It is so frustrating and I have no explanation for it.I also find I get tired so easily after the week at work I found I am so exhausted and have to rest.I'm trying to do the physio and keep active because I know if I stop moving particularlyif I stayed in bed for too long it makes things so much worse.Sound familiar?.

Hi Jenny
It sounds like things are a bit different since you last saw a rheumatologistI wonder if its worth going back to your GP and discussing things with them? I hope everything settles down soon and you get some relief and help. Being shattered by the end of the week is no fun at all, mention that to your doctor if you go to see them. Blood tests aren't definitive tools in reaching a diagnosis so don't be afraid to ask for another referral to a rheumy if you want one. Alternatively, why not ask you physio what they suggest you do?
Good luck and let us know how you go. LV xxHey little fighter, things will get brighter0 -
Thanks LV for your reply.
My physio is great and she thinks I may have ankolysing spondylitis.I have been tested for the gene for this and am waiting for results.I was told to pace myself but sometimes it's hard to get that right.Have good days but then can be completely knobbled for a week. This is a wonderful site though and great to have people around who know what you are talking about. Thanks again,J0 -
Hi Jenny,
I am sorry your having trouble there and know how hard the lumbar can impact on life.
Its possible there are a couple of things going on and I agree with LV that it would be better to go to the gp and maybe see if you can see the rumo again soon?
Could be worth asking about Raynaurds as well perhaps.
Hang in there flower and when the results come back maybe things will get easier with different meds and help> I do so hope so. A cyber ((( ))) and a hope it will get easier for you soon. Cris x0 -
Hi Jenny, Pacing is hard to do - I'm rubbish at it. On good days I do everything and then am useless for another two. Hopefully, you will eventually learn your limits or get some treatment that helps. I wish you luck with that.0
