I'm a Great Grandma lol

Hi Everyone , hope this horrible weather is'nt giving you more pain .

Well I had to post , i am so happy :D . This morning our new great grandaughter arrived. It does make you feel old , I am 62 and a great grandma, this is our 5th generation.
It also makes me a little sad that i wont be able to do a lot with her , but i can cuddle her and give her lots of love :D . ...........jilly x

    Congratulations jilly! I'm a great great aunt, which sounds very ancient.

    When my first grandson was born I, too, thought I wouldn't be able to do much with him but, where there's a will, it's amazing how ways can be found. Enjoy her. You'll have a great time together.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    We picked them up from the hospital and took them home , it was lovely to hold her . My daughter is over the moon with her new grandaughter . It has been a lovely day ...........jillyxx

    I can only imagine how excited and proud you must be feeling :D Grandchildren are such a bonus in life, so to have a great- grandchild too is an extra special bonus :!:

    Not many families achieve five generations, so you are very blessed.

    A great Grandma :D we have just had our third granddaughter....7 weeks ago..and I know what you mean about not being able to do the same...but what a lovely distraction from Arthur....have you had a cuddle yet... :D xx
