Back from having my thumb and wrist injection

Just had them done, I had to be there at 7.30 this morning the same hospital I have my hip injections....
Just to let you all know I didn't feel a thing, so if you are waiting to have them done don't worry.
I will let you know in the next few days if they work :) xx

    Hi Barbara I hope the injections make a difference to you, and I am sure that any one waiting to have the same injections feel a little less nervous reading that you didn't feel a thing :D

    I do hope they work, Barbara, and I'm very pleased it didn't hurt. Right, I am now willing t hem to work.....well.....for a long time :P

    Thanks everyone...
    I was surprised at how pain less it was compared to my back ones..and hips ones come to that....my back ones are next ... :shock:
    I will let you know if they work....just a bit swollen at the min...but know pain... :D

    make sure you take some pain meds before bed just incase glad it was pain free and rest them you know it helps val

    Wow, that's a result Barbara! No pain and hopefully some gain is on its way. Dont' do too much with those hands of yours and I echo Val's sensible advice - take some dullers if they start to 'tingle'. DD

    Glad the injections where painless for you Barbara, I really hope they work and and leave you pain free! Will be intrested to see how they go with you.

    i'm sorry i wrote a message yesterday i dont know what happened to it.

    i used to write everyone down when the board changed you can now run the page up and you can see everyone who has answered on there.

    I had to take pain meds before bed...mind you I do anyway...its quite achy and doesn't seem to work properly but they did say it would do this for a couple of days....I will be interested to see if it works, has my back and hip ones didnt.I will let you know....
    Joan even reading back I forget who is who.... :?
