Does anyone else ache a lot when the weather is damp?!
I have OA and can usually tell people when it's likely to rain due to my aching joints.
Is this something widely experienced with anyone else, this "feeling it in my bones" kind of thing!!
Just curious as I'm not sure if it is just me, or something other people also experience?

I just read something about that...can't remember the details but I think it was something to do with pressure receptors in the joints. Apparently it's common, can be scientifically explained, and not an old wives' tale.

Yup, since I was a child. When I was much younger it was the asthma that would wind itself up, now it's the joints. My mood falls too thanks to the low pressure. I don't need a barometer because I am one. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Yes I'm able to predict when it's going to thunder! I get strong headaches/migraines and it doesn't ease until the thunder starts! My late dad had exactly the same thing! I do get the aching in my effected joints when it's going to rain. Maybe I should get a job at the MET office!!
