Hello Minka, it sounds as though the kenalogue is helping something so that's a good start (I've never found them that helpful). They can take a couple of weeks to really get going so I hope you start feeling a more over-all benefit soon. As for the sulph well, I guess you start it when you get the prescription. Mine was prescribed by the hospital, I've been on it for ten years now; it hasn't done much for my psoriatic arthritis but it does help to keep my skin clear of the psoriasis. Who is prescribing your sulph? You begin with one tablet daily (morning) for a week, then go to two (one morning and evening), then three (two morning, one evening), then maybe four (two morning and evening). Your doctor / rheumatologist will calculate the dose that is relevant for you. I wish you well. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

That’s good that the injection is helping, MINKA. Maybe it’s not helping everywhere but on here we all have to settle some way short of miracles.
You are at least the second person this week who has posted about being cold. One complained of cold knees. You have cold feet. Might it just be that the weather has got quite a lot colder quite suddenly? Usually it seems more gradual. However, if you are worried about it, get it checked out.
If you need sulph it’ll be the consultant who says so. The GP might have a letter from him saying what his intentions are. You could ring your surgery to find out. I think reception would probably tell you if there was a letter but you might need an appointment to find out what was in it.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

walking has improved slightly but im beeing a bit conservative regards my swimming not putting to much strain on everything.
im wondering what to do when i see the knee specalist next week
i can not aford him having a look when nothing showing up on mri on a bit of joint narrowing medialy on the left leg.
but im walking better and still feel like im walking over on the right leg compensating for the left bad one.
cold feet have gone off a bit last few days but i had that last time it whent off and on
but i didnt know what this was then.
im going to see podiatrist this morning at salford uni see if i am compensating and maybee get some insoles from them if required.0 -

My default position, MINKA, is tell it like it is. Make a list of anything relevant and trust him to get it right. I'm glad the injection helped. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Its a great news that you are feeling much better and your walking has improved, also its good that you are avoiding strains. All the very best for your appointments, hope you get well soon.0

it should help in a few days usually. I found it didnt help me at all. I then tried oral steroids and they were amazing and i could walk again and use my hands.0
