Hi all

I came out this morning and already feel that I have been discharged too early.

My largest wound has bled through the dressing onto the bandage sock. District nurses are coming this evening.

Anyway the surgery went ok am in agony when partially weight baring and its burning like hell. They had to take me off morphine as my sats were dropping.

Hope everyone has been behaving and had a good week.

Much love

xxx

Hi Pink, Bet your glad to be home, people recover better at home, I know you proberly feel like you've been kicked out early, but you have the district nurse coming to check your wound and change the dressing. Enjoy resting up and watching telly or reading a book, Book Club is always happy for new members! Glad your over the worse and home, you take care and heal soon.

Thanks everyone for your support and kind words.

I am really struggling at home. My dressings won't be changed now until Tuesday at the hospital unless it bleeds again in which case the District Nurses will be coming back to see me.

The OT has brought me 2 perching stools, grab rails for the toilet and a foot stool.

Am going to ring my GP tomorrow as I want something stronger than tramadol and ibuprofen.

Lots of love to you all, Pink xxx

    Hi Pink,

Good to see you and hope that the post op pain will soon subside. I also really it has stopped bleeding and will not do so again.

They tend to chuck you out pdq now a days but sometimes you have better rest at home than in and I hope you will soon find it easier and hurt less. Leaving a cuppa and a ((((( ))))) Cris xx

    Hi

The pain really increased last night. Have spoken to two gps today and a prescription for diclofenac has been left out and my Dad is going to collect it tomorrow.

I'm going to ring the out of hours doctors tonight and ask for someone to come and see me.

    Take care all
