There’s this lovely old couple I know, both in their mid-eighties, both have been as fit as fleas all their lives and raised 10 children. In the last year, she has contracted some form of inflammatory arthritis. Asked how she was today, he remarked that she wasn’t that good. “It’s that damn arthritis. She just can’t seem to shake it off.”

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh bless! What a shock, though, when you are that age (and yes, I am aware that it is a shock at any age). If she does shake it off let us know how, yes? I wonder if Messrs I L L Fleeceum will play a part in it, perhaps you should start spreading the word.

Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Oh Sticky - this did make me chuckle
although I do feel very sorry for the lady.
Right, off to see if I can shake mine off now! Worth a try I reckon!

What a brilliant reply to you asking her hubby how she was!
I wonder what her reply would have been if you had asked her direct?
Must remember that one!
