Hurrah one is that my MRI results are already with the conultant!
Hurrah two is that a disc with these on is in the post to me now....shock!
Hurrah three is that the DLA peeps have written to my consultant re. my application....
But here's a big BOO....even though the hospital are happy to fax the results to my GP's surgery if my GP calls them, even gave me the number to call....my GP is off sick right now and the GP they asked to do it, not the alternative one I suggested but the stupid one who said I was exaggerating when I first pitched up at the surgery with swollen knees and hands three years ago, the one that said the NHS would thank me for not asking for prescribed pain killers and she says that she is uncomfortable requesting them....grrr! How dare she?! I told the receptionist exactly what I think of THAT GP and to go and ask the one I suggested earlier....
So I get to see the images tomorrow! That'll be very interesting

Hi nicchick, all par for the course these days I suppose. I'd say three out of four is a good result!
Good luck and hope your next post'll be four hurrahs and no boos... Joy0 -
Thanks you two!
Here's hoping for an all out hurrah!
Just got back from my sewing group, I've had to cancel the last few due to fatigue, pain or sickness and a lovely well meaning lady enquired about my hand, she had seen a splint, I explained again that it isn't just my hand that is affected but my whole body...I still don't think she gets it!
Had nice chat with friend who has joint and fertility problems and is a sensible gal - she can't believe the latest developments!
Onwards and all that...
