Hi Everyone,

Saw my consultation this morning, some good news and some bad news.

The good news I don't have MS, which is something that I was really worried about.

The bad news is my RA is spreading, now in my left hand and left foot as well as my right knee and right hand.

I pushed to get taken of the Meth but he didn't like that idea, so he has added Sulfa to the mix.

I am bit worried about taking Meth & Sulfa, but going to give it a try and see if this does the trick or not.

Also got told that I need to lose (don't we all!) lol. But very difficult to do with all the medication that I am on.

So thats me for another 6 months, starting on the new meds in a couple of weeks.

Good that you don't have MS. I'm afraid the nature of the RA beast is that it grows and spreads. I hope the sulph helps. It's quite normal to be on two meds. I do hydroxy with my meth. Good luck!
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I've been on sulph for ten years, and injected meth for at least the last four. It's quite usual to have two meds, sometimes three or four, and I hope you find that the new one helps the meth to make things a little better. Good luck. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

I'm very pleased you don't have MS, but sorry your RA is getting worse. Quite a mixed appointment!
Good luck with the weight loss, I know how difficult that is, with the meds, and inability to exercise. I think quite a few of us are struggling with that one.
    Wishing you well,
