The Shakes

Ok I know I am old, but wondered if anybody else suffers with the shakes?
Just wondering whether any of my meds make me shake, even though I haven't seen it mentioned in side effects.
I will mention it next time I go to the GP's, but they are only likely to give me another med to combat the shakes.

I must admit I don't get the shakes but I think talking to your GP is a good way forward.

Hey Arfa. Strangely, i got the shakes when i was on Meth. It was one of the reasons i was taken off it. I also had them when i was suffering from severe anaemia, so it maybe worthwhile getting your levels checked out.As with arthritis, the drugs can effect us in different ways. I would defo speak to your GP though.

Hi Arfa, I also have had the shakes at times. Sometimes a mere tremor and other times the full teeth rattling type. It mostly turned out to be the meds for me. Some of us are more sensitive than others to certain types of drugs.
Also sometimes nerve damage can make a particular nerve shake and this happens to my left leg quite a lot. It suddenly starts up and can be most embarrassing as I tend to fall over !
Quick note. Never, ever admit to being old. It's all a myth, don't let it get to you. What's old anyway, it's just a number.
Hope you see your gp soon and find out what your particular flavour of shake is and get it sorted out.. Joy.
