Well...this was an adventure!
The hospital have been ringing me so often that I recognize their number without it even being logged into my phone!
The GP that kinda job-shares with mine, they both have young families, and she gave me a copy of my results as well as discussing them on the phone. It showed that a fusion had occurred in my wrist between the triangular bone and the one above. She said this was probably due to prolonged swelling in the joint but that no particular signs of PsA were noticed. I asked about my fingers and thumb which are all so painful and she said there wasn't anything on the scan to show why but that they don't always show everything. My joints are so mis-shapened and now that the swelling has gone down - hurrah for celebrex - you can really see how enlarged they are.
My knees and feet are crunching away and OH reckons that there are bones fusing away in there - urgh!
The minutes from the complaints meeting arrived and the covering letter says that my new consultant feels it would be inappropriate of him to review my notes and comment as to whether he would have treated me differently.
They are still floundering around the issue of testing and examining me properly.

Hi Nic,
Seems like your caught in the middle it's so annoying when the medical profession stick together because it leaves you dangling like a worm on a fishing line.
I hope you get a result keep on at them and you could have some good luck.

Thanks Lexy!
Am trying to get there...having a very bad day with pain today, to the point where I don't actually know how I am managing to function! Good job it's a nice day for me, I run knitting club at the shop on a Wednesday morning and without the support of the knitters I think I would be having a very grey day indeed!
