thb honest im not really getting along with the hydrox, makes me feel sick,(vomiting a bit) so the up shot is, im going for bloods monday, and the rhumey says she will put me on methotrexate instead, or a mixture of both,,,,
i know its early days yet on the meds, but im a bit stiff again, and not looking forward to the winter!

Sorry to hear the meds are making you feel sick and hopefully things will settle down soon.

I knew it was going to rain today when I woke up as my knees felt stiff.
Sometimes my knees are more accurate on forecasting the weather than the experts on the tv.

That's a bit strange isnt it, still if you are having problems with the hydroxi then maybe this is an opportune event. Good luck, do let us know how you go. LV xx

Probably a case of right hands and left hands not communicating or, in your case, rheumatology and GP. I can't remember if they do bloods regularly if you're only on hydroxy, it's so long ago since I was just on that. But I do understand the desire to be sure all is OK before embarking on meth.

Are you always taking your hydroxy with food? That will mitigate against any queasiness. Same goes for meth and, indeed, everything else.

Once you get established on meds that work for you winter shouldn't be that much of a problem. I hope that happens soon.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

These hiccups happen, richy, you'll soon get used to them. If you are put on to meth be preapred for very frequent bloods and make sure you ask for the booklet in which your blood results should be recorded. Good luck. DD
