I did my first MTX jab myself today at the hospital :D I only have to go there one more time next week then I can do them at home. :) I did it in my tummy this week and next week have to show them I can do it in my leg.I am so pleased with myself as as I have said before,I cannot usually even watch injections on the TV even when they're not real.
I will be able to watch them on TV now too without turning away.LOL x

That's great news.first on over and done with.Well i guess just the thought of injecting yourself can be so scary and i just thought of the benifits it would make.my daugther would freak out and was home for a few days and asked if I could do my jab in the bedroom incase she walked in the living room when I was doing it.good luck next week
    Bye for now

Hey, well done, Rita! You sound so pleased with yourself and so you should too. You've put a smile on my face. You're doing brilliantly.

    brilliant.... :D
It's not great that you have to do them but at least it saves trips to and from the surgery.

That is a major step forwards - well done you, you brave girl. :D I prefer to do them in my tummy as there are fewer nerve endings but I also use the upper thigh. When it's that area's turn I take everything I need to the bedroom and sit on the bed with my legs up - this relaxes the thigh muscles and makes the process easier.

Good luck - you have done the hardest part and I wish you well. DD

Doing the first one yourself is a major step.

I speak from experience having started Meth jags in January.

It will get better the more you do it, but I still don't like it.
