Jaws

Hey Gang. Well, finally got to see the consultant about my dodgy jaw. I have had problems with it for a few years now and there has always been a debate as to wether it was TMJ or arthritis. Turns out that its both. The cartlidge that keeps my jaw moving is displaced and it has also been effected by my RA. I now have to wear a tooth guard like yer man from the bond film
Well sort of.
24 7 for six months. No chewy stuff or normal things like yawning
If that dosent work then its surgery to replace the joint fluid.Seems Arthur has made off with it.
Theres me thinking a few steroid injections and that would be it. No suck luck

10/10 for attitude, 7worlds. That won't be much fun but, if it works, I guess it'll all be worth it. I very much hope so. (No yawn)ing  I can think of several people I'd have to avoidIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Quite a few of us on here have had jaw issues and you do often get passed from dentist to rheumy to maxofacial people trying to get helped!
I my own case the Rhuemy said it's arthritis and the dentsit tried to sell me a gum sheild costing £200 so I have resisted!!!
Good luck
