Medication advice

Hi Folks

Been taking Meptazinol for about 6 weeks now 200mg 4 x daily and unsure if I'm having side effects as recently I have began to feel quite sickly, not eating well and feel hot but clammy and a bit shaky in the mornings. Anyone else have this?

    We cant really give you any advice as we aren't medics
    Actually I havent heard of that one.
    Make an appt with the GP and they'll soon tell you whether its side effects or not

    Thanks, going for MRI Tuesday so might find out if this is OA RA or what Rheumi thinks AS, nightmare finding out but at least they should then know best treatment for me.

    I've never heard of that med so yes, it's time to talk to your GP as he is the best-placed to advise you. What does the leaflet say? DD

    Update, going to docs, came out in a terrible blistery rash, not nice and feels like nettle sting.

    Hmmm. Shingles maybe? Cellulitis? I hope it's neither of those, just an allergic reaction which can be remedied. Good luck, wall1409, please let us know what the doc says. DD
