I shall be travelling down to Wareham in Dorset tomorrow for my uncle's funeral :( it's going to be another long long day for the 3rd time in this week of varied events and feelings. Just hope my determination to be there is not met with too much payback from our old enemy arthur

    thank you all
day went really well service and burial was a bit sad but as is my family's
usual way we went back to the house and had a happier time chatting and remembering all the good times and memories that we had with him.
bones and joints behaved very well considering I traveled down and back on the train and only took one crutch instead of my walker.
i'm quite tired today but not in a lot of pain.

That's good or, at least, as good as one can hope for from such a day. You know what you have to do today, Carol? That's right - take things easy and recover.
