Fusion Cancellled

Just had a phone call from the hospital to say that surgey for my fusion on Wednesday has been cancelled due to an emergency, will the following Monday be all right.......... mmmmmm.......... am I glad that it is not looming round the corner, or not so glad that it would soon be over and done with..........that is the question :?: :roll:

What an amazing crystal ball they have to see a future emergency. The main thing is that it will be done (we hope) on the next date. If I could keep my fingers crossed I would! Good luck with it anyway and I hope it's a success. DD

Mm I can see exactly where you're coming from, Marie. I'm not sure how I'd feel but I think, on the whole, once I've got myself psyched up I prefer things to happen. However, it's not long to wait. I hope it goes well.

I really was not phased about the surgery at all, I think after getting myself in a tizzy about my lip biopsy I had got it all out my system......... ahem so I thought :? as the day has gone on I now wonder would I have been better to get it over an done with.................. good god I am turning into a right sap in my old age xx

Aaw Villier, I'm sorry about that. My fusion was done when the hospital had a cancellation, so I didn't have time to fret about it. I think that was much better for me, but then I'm quite a wimp :oops:
Still, not too long for you to wait. I hope all goes well.
