I have never been given a blood test , should I ask for one.
When I was in hospital having my THR they asked if I'd had one.
My joints are so sore. achey & tired , wonder if Ive got anything else now, or is this all to do with OA ?

As Val said there's no harm having one, it will give your Consultant and G.P a good idea what your cell count is.0

Blood tests are routine for auto-immune versions but not OA. I doubt there's any harm in asking for one though, which should include inflammatory marker measures and RF factor. The doctor may say no, but he may also agree to it. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
