It's so easily done when one is feeling better, we do forget the things that cause us trouble. Get that pillow in place and I hope tonight is a better (and less painful one) for you. ((())) DD

These quilts do differ in weight...even with the tog fillings..there are light weight ones but finding one is beyond me...I hope you have a better night tonight x

You've had much on your mind, Val, and the steroids have provided a welcome distraction from the pain. It is amazing how quickly we manage to forget about it all though. I guess the human spirit just naturally bounces back and conveniently obliterates the memory. You remembered the bedside cocos though so managed to avoid that 1/2 hour of 'Do I really need to get up to take some and get cold doing so.' ((()))
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hope you sort out your tog and pillow for tonight so you get a good nights sleep! You really need to get some rest after all you've been through. Sweet dreams for tonight!!

Hope you are now sorted with duvet. I would recommend a 'down' one if you are looking for a lightweight one. My lovely son has recently bought me a goose down one (it's actually 2 that can be used separately or together when really cold). It is really brilliant, so warm and not at all heavy. Only one problem it's even harder to get up in the morning than it was! Beryl
