Feeling so tired even though Im getting plenty of rest. My sleep is distured , but I do sleep , so dont know why I feel so tired all the time.
Im going to see my GP as I'm now getting shoulder pain , deep inside , blade area & in my neck.
Would love a pain free week & to feel like my old self again !

    Hi Lazicat

I am sorry you are struggling. I am much the same as yourself. Pains in the neck and shoulder and when bad spreading down the arm. Glad to hear you are going to your doctors. Hopefully they will be able to put you on something to help you sleep better and the pain.

I know it is awful going through pain all the time. It really gets you down doesn't it. But try and talk to you doctor, there are lots of us that are on anti-deppresants as well. I dont know you're situation as I have only just come back but everyone is here for you. You wont feel alone in any way.

Keep us informed about the visit to the doctors wont you.

The tiredness is all part and parcel of the disease, especially until we have accepted and internalised the fact that our old selves are gone and the new self has to do things differently. Even though you are sleeping, it's a disturbed sleep and not as restful as an undisturbed one.

I think seeing the doc is a good move. I hope he can help.

Sgticky has stolen my words! Rest helps, as does pacing yourself and breaking tasks down into manageable chunks. Surgery takes time to get over (yours was pretty major) and I am sure that is also part of the reason for feeling so tired. DD
