Sad loss of Clive Dunn. Good to know he lived a long life. Dad's Army is one of our favourite programmes, it's an oldie but goodie - was it Tony Blackburn that used to say that? :(

    Amazing talent , I too love dads army and watch them over and over ; gentle comedy without smut . Jillyb

    He had a good run for his money though, he was a good age and could afford to live in the sun I'd imagine he enjoyed most of his life and in some comfort the lucky bugger.

    I have only just seen this...we do love dads army in our house,I had a shock to find out he was only in his 40s when he made it...brilliant makeup
