You wonderful....wonderful people.
Please forgive me if I don't name you all but weakness is my devil today.
So tired but can't sleep....eyes like saucers.
4 more different meds to add to the mix and of course the poison thats been pumped into me to get rid of the nasties.
I'll try and keep you updated but can't promise. Next chemo 29th bloods being ok by then.
I'm getting too old for this rubbish but I'm still fighting. I refuse to let it get to me.
Many thanks to SW for the post.
Love to you all (((((())))) May0 -

Don't worry about talking to us - I am sure that someone will act as your PA and update us as and when thus relieving you of that bother. You need your energies for YOU so make sure you employ them in that direction. I have been thinking of you and will continue so to do. ((((())))) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi
Heard from May today but she managed to get online and give you an update so not much more to say at the minute
Love
Hileena0 -
All you have to do, May, is rest and recover. No need to update us either collectively or individually. Just let the meds do their job. That's all any of us want. (((())))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Still thinking of you May. Lots.
Loads love Tilly xxx0 -
She's feeling a bit better today than yesterday but is experiencing the 'leglessness' all-too-familiar to those of us who have had chemo. Imagine the after effects of the worst flu you've ever had. You really need to slightly move your leg's position on the recliner but it takes about 5 minutes to summon up the energy. You have pure water where your muscles used to be.
She also has the metallic taste which will only be banished, temporarily, by sucking on boiled sweets or ice cubes.
May being May, she's contemplating 'having a good talking to herself' If she does, I suggest we all have a good talking to her.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh May i am sorry your findiong it so unpleasant. I wish I had a magic cure but I have only a bucket of hopes and some fortitude and strength drafts.
Thinking of you and sending love. ((((( ))))) and so many hopes Cris xx0 -
Morning May. I hope today's a little easier but, please, no heroics. (())If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

May is feeling 'much more positive' today, still weak (of course) but was proposing to take the dogs for a short walk this afternoon
(There is no way I could have done that the day after chemo - or even three days after.) She is also 'feeling guilty for missing pocket duties' Her husband has a cold which she is, understandably, trying very hard to avoid so, with luck, the fresh air will help on that front.
Some gentle ones, May. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hello May. Am so glad to hear you are progressing very slowly. Do take care of yourself. Thinking of you and wishing you well again. Beryl.0

The latest from May
She is feeling a "bit rough " today
Is having nosebleeds so cant get out so is feeling sorry for herself.
Who would blame her????
Love
Hileena0 -
Thanks for the update, Hileena.
I'm sorry about this, May. Nosebleeds are a complication you could do without. Any little setback is disheartening. I hope it all settles down soon but, if not, please don't soldier on without getting it checked out. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi May,
I hope you feel brighter very soon.
Fondest wishes,

Hello everybody,
I can't help but think I'm being a wimp. Its a nosebleed not too serious just a pain as I can't go out even to the hill and look at the sea.
I'm fed up of the extra meds which I have to take as I want to improve before I get my next dose of poison on the 29th.
Some-one really should invent a chemo that just attacks the cancer itself and not the good bits.
Been sleeping in the spare bed as John has a cold and any infection I pick up has to be sorted within an hour.
All in all its a blip for the next 6 months. Hopefully then it will have gone again and maybe stay away this time.
To read all your messages has inspired me to put my positive head on again.
Bless you all. May xx0
