Hi Everyone
My small progress is still continuing after just over 2 weeks post operative TKR....
With my exercises my heel now does lift considerably off the ground (the one where they put a towel underneath it but I put a smaller rounder cushion under and can achieve this)...Also my bend was measures at 80% on wednesday and now with my ice and exercises im sure it is very close to 90%...Still have swelling, they say that wont go down till about 3 weeks time but have no dressing on now, it looks clean, has marks where all the staples were but no sign of infection and very neat scar....
Sorry to everyone who has replied to previous posts, i usually do reply individually but at moment can only manage little time at laptop - I do apprecaite everyone's comments and well wishes, they are all read......
Love Elainexx

Really good news about the new knee. I hope the progress continues. It must be difficult to get on the laptop at the moment so don't worry about replying individually

My progress is tiny but im happy with any baby step I make...Did bit too much yesterday think...Went to Aldi then Morrisons and walked short bit to Poundstretcher whcih think did me in as was in bed before 11 last night....
A man in Aldi nealry knocked my crutch from me and i didnt half shout at him, told him he nearly put me back in hospital, he apolgised but gave a sob story about driving for a long time....So what? People nowadays can be so wrapped up in their own lives and not conisder others....Well I have crutches and will use them and wil voice opinions too....Beware!!
