i have done everything to the letter from phisio
been doing a little walking but ached like hell at night
tried doing a bit of sawing today and arm are now aching like hell and dithering a bit like ive just been weight lifting
and im feeling like i want to drop to the flood
what started in my knee seems to have moved on an invaded every thing in my body that is used as mussle and ligaments
ive moved doctor now and boy would i like to see what my blood is like now with the tests.
im not realy stiff in a morning
but these little swellings on me hand sort of flare up on any exertion even walking you press them and the soars go white then emidiatly back to red
if thats what ive got in me knees trying to move then no wonder it cracks and crunches.
i was told it was a none distructive sponduropathy enthesis but ive got me doubts about this you cant hurt this much without damage.
grips better but thats about it wonder if ive got fibro to

Things can hurt without joint damage due to swelling and inflammation where it shouldn't be. It is also possible to do the exercises you are told and not to feel any immediate benefit. I still have to do my knee exercises from my synovectomy ops in 2002, 2003 and 2006 to keep my muscles strong. Arthritis of whatever sort does not 'feel' better despite us doing what we can to help ourselves but the meds and exercises are important to slow the progression of the disease as much as possible and to reduce the possibility of damage. Keep working at it Minka and I hope things ease soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Oh Minka
That sounds really sore - I take it you have told the physio how things are now? If he/she suspected the exercises were causing harm then he/she would stop them I would think.
Personally, I know I would be going back to see my GP (new one might be useful), so they can see the swelling and then maybe he will consider a further blood test???
You take care

hi the knee dosnt swell the same now it feels like the bursa underneath is inflamed a bit but it sore under the knee not to the touch
and im fed up of me feet going cold then warm up to correct temprature at night.
im hoping the new doctor will send me for more blood test or a possible look at the knee again by xray
i know their are quite a few blood vessels around the knee and im wondering if when it gets soar the inflamation restricts blood but i hade like an ultrasound at the podiatry and they said hear that thats the pulse in one part of your leg then she checked the other and their was a pulse their to and she informed me it was a good one
so im hoping also good in that respect.
its hard to belive for me back in april swimming when i herd some clunking in the water to this thing moving all round me body knackering things up
i was on the understanding if you have a bad knee that it just stayed in the knee.
i always put the knee through its normal motion i do not limp on it as i know that is bad and you will end up with other problems.
is as if this thing is only interested in ligaments to bugger up joints.
dot see phisio till 22 nov0 -
People think they know what arthritis is then when they get it they discover what it really is. It is a degenerative and progressive condition - I began with one affected joint now it's at least thirty eight. Everyone's arthritis is different and there is little point in comparing one to another - what has happened to me is not the same as will happen to you but I think it fair to say that it does spread, 'ts the nature of the beast. The meds for the auto-immune versions are designed to slow its progress and control the worst of the symptoms but for the majority of us they won't take it all away. DDHave you got the despatches? If you’ve been doing all that the physio advised, it’s probably helping although it doesn’t feel like it although I’d be surprised if the physio advised sawing as that would put all sorts of pressure on lots of joints.
I’m afraid, as DD said, the nature of the beast is that it moves round but, in the early stages at least, pain is not necessarily a good indicator of damage done.
If you are managing to walk correctly that will be good for you and is an achievement given the pain you are in.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
