We are sat in the slug n lettuce by the quayside in gateshead. Sun is shining.. Its a gorgeous day

    Went to south shields too. Had a wonderful pub lunch this afternoon..
    Both absolutely worn out now..
    Mum and our friends were gonna meet us at hexham tomorrow but they're gonna meet us here at the hotel. Then we can all get a bite to eat, go to hexham, get some shopping in for the week, then it's up to keilder...

    I got rather fed up today, could hardly walk around gateshead... Walked too much yesterday.. Janet mentioned me getting a scooter, but I'm too stubborn and out geeks like giving I'm to me.. I know, I'm being stupid..

    DD... I offered her a go, but she said it's her birthday, not mine and would rather get some sleep :shock: :shock: :?

    Our friends are about to set off up here with mum. Looking forward to keilder.. Always enjoy it up there..

    Can't wait to get the sim card for mi new phone either lol. Really looking forward to using it properly..

    Hi happy birthday Janet for yesterday I'm not sure if your slug in a lettuce is a saying or an actual place, never seen the millennium bridge before tony it looks beautiful it certainly looked okay weather wise there weather here just now awful but that's Scotland for you, you are like most men tony thran! I'm nae sure if ats jist a Scottish word or no bit I'm sure you will get the jist the scooter might help ye for other days and as a mam of 3 boys tony ill jist say ti ye get a hat on yer heed

    Thanks everyone. Janet had a really nice birthday. The whole break was great.
    It has been rather miserable weather wise in Keilder but still enjoyed it.
    Christi, thanks hun. Slug and lettuce is a chain of pubs lol. And ad for the hat.. I forgot mine.... doh... lol
    Bought another one on Monday though :wink:
