I stopped the hydroxy a week ago on rheumatology nurses advice,I was feeling sick all day, things haven't improved yet,I am having strange sensations in my thighs and upper arms,I am also sweating a lot and sometimes have a slight panicky feeling, only been out once in the last three weeks as I feel so sick.I don't think it's the humira as I started feeling sick before I started it,swellings have all gone down and I am virtually pain free.Got to speak to nurse tomorrow to find out what happens next.
I have been looking in so please take for granted all pocket duties.I am thinking of you all.Mig

    Hi Mig,

Sorry you're having such a tough time. It's awful feeling sick without knowing why, so I hope you'll get as much support as you need from the nurse tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm sending lots of positive vibes your way.

    Best wishes,
    Phoebe

I'm very sorry you're still feeling so rough, mig. I think speaking to the nurse is the best thing to do. I hope she comes up with something helpful. (())

I too am sorry you have been having a rough time, Mig, but the glimmer of light is that the humira may be doing something to help matters and that is a good thing. Take care. DD

Urgh, Mig, that sounds horrible, I hope the nurse comes up with something helpful. Hydroxy left me feeling just like that, I didn't stay on it long and can't remember how long that feeling last when I came off it but I hope they can sort you out. One step forward and another back, I hope they humira wins through.

I have to see GP tomorrow as rheumatology don't seem to know what's happening with me,they don't think its the humira and neither do I,I have got myself so stressed that I think is a big part of the problem.Nurse told me to hold off on next jab (its due tomorrow)till I have seen GP in case I have a bug of some sort.Mig

I know I’d be stressed in your shoes, mig. Uncertainly is always scary. I have absolutely no suggestions to offer and I hope the GP has. ((()))

Hi Mig, so sorry to hear you're feeling "Yuk"- sometimes there's no other word. Hydroxy makes me feel dodgy too. Hope the GP can help you and that things start to improve really quickly.
    Take care.

Sat in the waiting room for 2 hours ,then saw a young man who looked like he should be in school, after going through everything he came to the conclusion that it's anxiety,he gave me some propranolol to try ,upto 3 per day,so we will see what happens. He did seem to know a little about thehumira. At the moment I feel like a wet rung out rag.Mig

Ah yes, these infant doctors! Still, if we was clued up that's a good thing.

I can well imagine that you feel shattered now, mig. You know the drill. Feet up and take it easy with a cuppa.

I do hope it helps. The good news, I guess, is that, if it wasn't the humira or the hydroxy causing it, you can still take both.

    Hi Mig,

Hope the propranolol helps and that you won't have to wait too long for your blood test results.

    Best wishes,
