does anyone experience this. It's a new pain to me andf starts quite soon after I get up, constant aching and pain all day. My physio thinks it might be bursitis in my hips ( I have OA in my knees). the only respite I get is when I lie down or sit with my legs raised, it's been going on for a week and getting worse. It is driving me crazy ! It's both legs as well and at night my ankles ache as well . Any advice appreciated

I think I've had something similar. Mine was particularly bad when I walked up hill or upstairs. My physio tracked it to the discs at the bottom of my spine. With exercizes and changes in posture, it did get better.

    Hope this helps.

I think you're right to see the doc. I just can't relate to this at all and I've had two THRs so I'm no stranger to hip problems. Please let us know how you get on.

That's interesting. My rheumy gave me a steroid injection for hip bursitis a few weeks ago. And offered to refer me to an ortho-surgeon to consider a new hip. That terrified me, as I've already had other major surgery this year, so I asked her to leave the referral for now. She agreed, and we will review it at my next appointment.

Good job we can keep the NHS working:)
