The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Very interesting. It seems they are a step nearer to helping those sufferers who have not yet responded to treatment.

It makes interesting reading, particularly as my grandmother was already severely affected by the disease at my age (54) - the drugs to control weren't as efficient then of course, and all the aspirin caused many other problems for her. I'm thankful that mine is so much better controlled, and pray that if my daughter or subsequent generations are unfortunate enough to succumb there will be a cure on the horizon.

Thank you for sharing. It's always good to hear about research going on and a recognition that genes play a role. I suffer (mildly) from 2 other genetic disorders and wondered if my genes had a role to play in developing RA and there are no AI disorders in my family at all.
