hi am on cancer treatment and one of the drugs will help with the arthritis have tree weekly infusion of rituximab nurse says it often helps so there is always a silver lineing even when all looks dark oh and steroids are ace just had 5 days of high dose of them lol the world moves in strange ways but it is not all doom and gloom now i hear you asking why the heck are you posting at this time well i was hungry first time in a month so had toast and jam was lovely lol val

    Yes, Val, I found that too when I was on chemo. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my RA was behaving. It was about 8 years later, when I was put on methotrexate, that I learnt its primary use was as a chemotherapy drug.

    Toast with jam sounds good to me. Keep up the good work.

    ((((())))) Steroids are lovely with what they can do and I hope the rituximab etc helps your inflammatory arthritis as well as the rest of what's going on. You are a brave girl and no mistake. DD

    Val the drug will suppress your immune system then the nasties die off...this is why you will nee your bloods done then they can top the cells up when needed...you will get there ((((((()))) xx
