Aw, dear Barbara, sorry not to have been there for you, you are always there for me. I wish I could take some of the pain away. No wonder you are suffering. You do not like to make a fuss and now the letter "got lost". We should not have to chase, all the time, we really should not have to do this.

I too am having a mini battle in my head with the rheumi and my GP. After seeing my gp re result from rheumi and what meds I should be on, he disagreed and said he would write to him . I phoned up my gps sec two weeks later to say I had heard nothing and then 4 days after this call, I get a call from my consultant's secretary saying they have received a copy letter from my gp sent to the rheumi. This was 5 days later. I am pretty sure that no letter had been sent by my gp until I called his sec and she covered up for him and told me to wait a further week, because the letter was not sent out the day of the appt with my gp. Nice one Dr. Thanks a million for caring.

Pain really does get one down big time, dear Barbara, we all know that. It sucks at your energy and at you both physically and mentally.

You look after yourself and chase that injection appointment. I wish I could make some of the pain go away for you.

Lots of love and gentle hugs
    Elna x

so sorry Barbara I missed this thread but I know how much you've been suffering of late. It would be easier to list which part of your body doesn't hurt wouldn't it?

Can't hurry them up I'm afraid (they seem to be in a different time zone to the rest of us) but can give you a hug ((( ))).

Morning my lovely, how are things today? I'm glad that the BMW is coming in useful and the 17th is not too far away (I know, I know, cold comfort indeed). Keep warm and as comfy as you can, keep up with the dullers etc so that you can get ahead of the pain, and I hope you feel at least a little better soon. (((()))) DD

    Hi Barbara
Hope you are feeling a little better.
Does your BMW have snow tyres? Take care-no wheelies until you are past your L plates!
Best joke I ever read, "With that information and a diagnosis of spondylosis, your doctor can develop a treatment plan‏" or back in reality totally ignore you. Is ok I have a sense of humour and a boxing glove, not defeated yet.

Barbara, have you tried a proper ankle support which you can buy from the local pharmacy? They really do help. I keep one in a drawer for emergencies.

Hello my lovely, I'm glad to hear you sounding a little brighter. The blues don't usually last forever, it just feels like it. Time flies when all is well and crawls when it isn't, we all know that, but it doesn't make things any easier does it? I am glad the BMW is coming in handy - who knows, if you bite the THR bullet you may be able to have a ceremonial bonfire! My fingers would be crossed that the facet doobries will work but as I can't do that I'll think positive thoughts instead.
