. . . . . expecting. Ye gods. Surely the Duchess of Cambridge is not doing anything that unusual, it's something that women tend to do every now and again. I've just watched a totally pointless interview on the news with Dr Hilary (he's looking his age) and the editor of OK! who reckons this is brilliant news for OK! What? :? Oh, and just to make it utterly clear the newsreader explained she is expecting a baby (rather than the delivery of a new telly). DD

I know what you mean DD. I'm obviously very pleased for them both but, as I said to hubby last night, we are now in for seven months of the pregnancy on the tv, radio and in the newspapers.

Fortunately I didn't suffer from morning sickness, but I can appreciate how awful it must be.

I'm not saying it isn't good news but is it really worth all the hoo-hah? OK, one view is that she is creating the third-in-line to the throne and that is historically important but it is a commonplace miracle. (now that's an oyxmoron and a half!) DD

PS valval? Cracking! You is a norty girl.
