Hello everyone
Not been here for a while as psa is doing great at the moment on humira.crp levels are 5 and esr 26 so rheumy nurse very pleased and so am I.still can't wait for week Tuesday to come around as it seems to ware off towards end of second week.health wise not so good as I need my gallbladder out and am on the waiting list but it has been playing up really badly the last three weeks .i have not eaten much and have lost a stone it weight.i am living on tamadol and painkillers.it did ease off over the weekend but started to play up again today.my gp send a letter to the surgeon last week and told me to phone him pa today.well what a day .i have talked to her three times today and twice to my doctors.i turns out letter which was not a letter but a email has been sent to the wrong department and his pa said it could take much longer to get to her.phoned my doctors and asked them to send a letter or fax as she it would get there quicker .doctors fax has not been working for three months so they are going to send letter.i have to phone hospital on Friday to see if they have it and she said with luck as I need two weeks notice to come off hurima I should get my op in January.hooray for that.not looking forward to coming off hurima but so looking forward to getting this gallbladder out.been playing up for 18 months now.i had to lose weight first so I could have op which I have done( 8 stone in total ) so with some luck next year is looking up health wise. The thought of getting through Xmas without hurima and my gallbladder playing up is not fun.i guess everyone in this house is going to have to step up to the plate and help for once.that is if the control freak in me can let it happen.Thank for taking the time to read this as it is quite long.
Hope everyone is coping as best as they can
Bye for now
Milly

    Hi
I had my gallbladder removed in October after suffering with
Pain for a few month. I really hope you op date comes through
Quickly because the pain is awful.

I came home the day after my op & I have never looked back.
Is there a cancelations list you could be on?

    Take care

    Hi Milly
I had my gallbladder removed April last year after terrible pain with it for 10 years. Doctor had been telling me it was a stomach ulcer, if only they had got it right first time. Could not have the keyhole operation, had to have the big operation. Even so I felt so much better straight after the op so whichever op you have you will be okay. Took a while to be able to eat anything but now I can, just have to watch fatty stuff etc. Good luck with the op, you will be so much better.

Hi poor Milly, I had impacted gall stones and was in agony and was in and out of hospital with it until I was rushed in with a gallstone blocking anything from going to or out of my liver! So they had to remove my gall bladder and laser the stone blocking my liver to break up so it wasn't blocked anymore. The relief when after that op was amazing! (The morphine helped!!) But when I went home it was nice to have my appetite back. I'm so sorry that you have to wait on the short notice list to have the operation hope you get a call soon. Well done on loosing the weight, Good ol' Tramadol makes you feel like a zombie!!
