I have been suffering with wrist pain for years but it has now become debilitating. The diagnosis is pisifotriquetral arthritis. They have tried steriod shots several times with no relief. The next procedure seems to be remval of the pisiform bone. Has anyone had this done and what were your results.

Hello. I don't have this particular problem but one suggestion I can make is to do a search on the word 'pisiform' on this forum and see if any threads come up. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
I don't have your problem, so I can't really help. I have RA, affecting most of my joints. Recently I had a full wrist fusion, but of course that's no help to you
I hope someone comes along soon who can help.
    Wishing you well,
    Numpty

I too don't have the same Arthritis as you but do suffer with wrist pain by Osteo-Arthritis my right wrist is the most painful. I have had my 1st Steroid injection and it seems to be helping so fingers crossed it carries on. You have to decide what helps for your pain, it's your decision to make no one elses. Hope you find some relief soon. Take Care.

Thank you for all your inputs. :) I read a post that was back in 2006 from someone with this problem and that is why I joined. hopefully I can reconnect with that person and see what their results were.
I don't know how to "search" yet on this forum.
