Hi to you all new member with Psoriatic arthritis

Just wanted to say Hi to you all, I have psoriatic arthritis as well as other back problems and have been fortunate enough to find a wonderful rheumatologist who has given me the very best treatment, I am still not very mobile and in alot of pain but compared to how I would have been if untreated I cant complain, I am 43 years old and have 3 children 15,12 and 4 years , a lovely husband who helps care for me and kids, sometimes I get really down about it when i cant do the things I want to with my family and friends but I try and keep positive by thinking of all the people far worse of than me!!

So if any of you are recently diagnosed or not getting the right treatment I will gladly share my experiences and medication with you if it will help you get the treatment you deserve.

    I have OA, but there are quite a few on here with PA, how lovely that you have such a good Rheumy...it make such a difference when you get good treatment and its not much to ask...you take care xx

    Hi Suzy. Welcome from me, too. I'm an RAer but the meds are much the same. Yes, I've got a good consultant too and it helps a lot. I'll look forward to seeing your name around.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    I think you will gain a lot from us and also that you will have loads to bring here too.

    I have three kids too 17, 17 and 15 on Sunday :shock: (when did that happen? :shock: ) all girls.

    A big welcome from me too. And how lovely to hear that you have got a good consultant. I have OA but many of the others here have had problems with getting a good consultant.
