Hi
I have been waiting for my MRI appointment for my hips/pelvis and spine. I rang the MRI dept to see how long the waiting time was and they booked my appointment there and then for next Friday 14th Dec. I am glad it will be done soon, but not looking forward to 50 minutes lying on my back on the table.
I am still having the hydro which I love! I wish I could have a pool at home, maybe I should ask Santa!!
The OT from local social services came today to assess me for more aids. I have a prescription for things to be delivered soon.
I am still having pain in my hip, and back with some altered sensations in my right foot/heel. I am struggling with stairs and walking any distance.
Work are referring me to occy health and HR which I am worried about, but can`t do anything about yet. My GP wants to sign me off til the New yr but I said no, just til 18th Dec and I will see how I am, maybe go back on a fit note with restricted duties ??
Pocket duties please for the MRI, as I will need entertaining for 50 mins!!
NB

    50 mins eh?

Ok a short tap dance, a couple of Christmas carols, some magic tricks and maybe a morris dance??

Seriouly though nearly I am so glad you have a date nice and soon. The sooner they know what's what the sooner things can be sorted. Occy health can't really make a decison until they know the prognosis either can they really?

I will be right there with you and so understand your reasoning for not wanting to be signed off into the new year.

    Love and hugs

I'll be there. Maybe they will play the radio to you - I had Ken Bruce to entertain me in mine last week! I was just too late for Pop Master - gutted!

Good that OT sorting you out. Try not to worry about work - easier said than done I know.

    Hi Toni
A tap dance and some carols?? Sounds good, do you do requests?!! For your magic trick can you make my dodgy hips disappear?!!
Frogmella, not sure about Ken Bruce. I might see about a CD and ask them to play it for me. 50 mins is a long time doing nothing. Too much time to think! Pity it will be too noisy and uncomfortable for a little snooze!
Its very cold and icy here today as my bones are telling me too. Not venturing out too much today. A day in front of the fire with Christmas films I think :D

I hope it goes well, NB. I imagine there'll be quite an audience gathered to watch frog's dancing. (I always knew she was just pretending to have arthritis  ) I can't offer any suggestions re music. I've only ever had one MRI and I was so doped up on morphine they could have blasted the 1812 into my ears and I'd have stayed calm and still.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
