This was an email I received from my cousin.

    RELAX EVERYONE - IT'S A HOAX

    Not by our lovely villier, of course.

    It's another version of an old spam. Nowadays they do swear that snopes, hoaxslayer etc say it's for real and rely on you not checking. I checked and it isn't. Just a few more lies to add to their list. My guess is that this one was started by someone with a grudge against the card company.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Although most of these alerts going round are hoaxes, it's always a good idea to be very wary of opening any links received, especially if you aren't expecting them.

    HMRC spam email is doing the rounds again. They claim you are due a tax rebate and a link asks you to give bank details, address and credit card details.

    Needless to say its a scam.
