This is good news, Shandy, and it will not be long until February (think back to October, yes? ) It can take time to get answers but keep talking to us in the meantime to keep us up-to-date with how you are. Take care. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Shandy, good for you standing up to your G.P and getting the referal. I've said it once but I will say it again, only you know your body and only you know if something is out of sorts, when your in pain and when if you have double vision or can't see well!
Hope you will get the answers you want when you see the consultant in Febuary.0 -
Thankyou to all that has helped me with the advise if I had not come on to this site I think I would still be none the wiser of what to do and just be suffering still so I am gonna see about doing something in return once the warm weather sets in0

Well done! It was your own determination and perseverance that got you the appointment. That can be so difficult when we're in a lot of pain. Please ask for pocket duties, if required, nearer the time.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Sorry what is pocket duties ?0

Pocket duties is where we all, metaphorically, jump into someone's 'pocket' so that they'll have reinforcements for difficult appointments. It can help just to know that others are thinking of you and encouraging you. Available on requestIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh I will keep that in mind nearer the time Thankyou.0
