MRI today

Hi
I have my MRI of my spine/pelvis and hip this afternoon. I am not looking forward to the 50 minutes on the table but hope I get some answers soon.
The hydro is helping a little with the power in my leg, but the pain is still bad in my back and hip and I get sciatica and neuropathic pain down my leg into knee and foot especially when sitting.
Fingers crossed for some answers and a solution please!!

    Hi NB sorry I am late, but I do hope the MRI was not too uncomfortable , I know they can be especially when they are so long.
    Please let us know how it went and I hope the results are helpful.xx

    I hope it wasn't too bad, NB, and that it helps.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi
    Thanks everyone for your messages and support.
    I had the MRI, and did not enjoy the experience! I now know just how claustrophobic I am!! I had to stop twice to come out of the tube as I felt panicky and couldn`t breathe! The staff were lovely thank goodness! I was in a lot of pain too, lying still on my back is not the best!
    So I was told the results take about 10 days, but with Christmas....who knows! I am waiting for another appointment now then. Probably in the New Year I expect.
    I am suffering a bit today as a result. I hope I feel better soon as I am out for a meal with work at a posh hotel. And I need to dress up etc..

    Sorry it was a tad scary and painful, NB. I recently had a jaw MRI and found it quite a challenge. Sounds like you did well and glad the staff were supportive. Enjoy your christmas do! Wrap up warm, the temperature has dropped again *brrr* x

    Sorry I missed this. Glad its over and done with now.
    I cant lie on my back for any length of time....very difficult.
    Hope you get the results fairly soon
